Blog Launches 6/7/2017!
Well hello there! Welcome to my new blog, Diary of a Vegan Foodie. For those of you coming over from my other blog, Beautifully Organic, thank you for the follow! And for those of you reading my blog for the first time, I appreciate the read and feel free to stick around!
This blog is going to be something new for me. I’m not a professional chef. I’m what some would call a home cook (c’mon, you know the term from all the Food Network you watch 🤗). I cook for three hungry kids and a husband, 3 meals a day, 7 days a week. I dabble with recipes more often than not, and I love to host people for a meal in my home. It’s what some call a passion or a hobby, I call it my lifestyle. It’s what I go to bed thinking about and what I wake up dreaming about. And now, I’m about to embark on the newest adventure of my life. Thanks to my incredibly supportive and wonderful man, I am starting a new blog. A blog exclusive to food, travel, trying new recipes and of course, wine. I will be traveling and discovering new food and places that are a must see. I will be eating, of course, and dabbling even further into recipes and adventures as a home cook.
Lastly, the title of my blog is a diary of a Vegan Foodie. Well, I guess that means that after years of going back and forth from being a vegetarian to vegan, I’m finally making the jump. The commitment to eating a plant based diet…only…and hopefully permanently (except for the occasional goat cheese indulgence 😜)!
This blog will be raw and organic (pun intended!) and there will be some bumps along the way as I learn how to write about food and how to take decent pictures! And as I research the best places to visit and restaurants and food to try; cookbooks to navigate through, I will have in mind the interest of current and potential readers. It will be a process that’s for sure!! But it will also be quite an adventure and I hope you will be with me every step of the way.
My first post on this blog will be the first Wednesday in June, June 7th. The topic is still in the making, but it’s focus will be on California, as the fam and I will be traveling there the week after Memorial Day. Please stay tuned! And please come back and catch up with me as I dive into food blogging. I promise it will be worth the follow.
